Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations throughout their visit
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and maximize seating capacity
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for billing and order accuracy
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is essential
