Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly to maintain smooth service flow
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
- Support food handling and sanitation protocols to uphold food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Assist with light catering or event setups as needed to support restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with sanitation, cleaning procedures, and safe manual handling practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact politely with guests
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus
- Experience in catering or kitchen environments can be advantageous but is not mandatory
