We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, organizing shipments, and ensuring efficient operations at the dock. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
- Sort, stage, and organize freight based on destination and priority
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with inventory tracking and documentation as needed
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50–75 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if needed
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Forklift certification is a plus
Pay: $23.20 - $28.00 per hour
