What You'll Do
- Perform general and light line repair work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to evaluate components and systems
- Communicate with the Service Advisor on additional service needs and provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
- Execute warranty repairs in compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles and document findings accurately on repair orders
What We're Looking For
- Ford certification required
- 2 years of service technician experience preferred
- B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and the dexterity required for precision repair work
- Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
