What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Body Shop Mechanic position at Rob's Automotive and Collision Center?
We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our collision repair team. This is not a general automotive repair position—no oil changes, brake jobs, or routine maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical repairs related to collision damage
- Suspension, steering, cooling systems, and driveline repairs
- Remove and replace mechanical components
- Diagnose issues resulting from accidents
- Work closely with body and paint technicians to complete quality repairs
Qualifications:
- Automotive mechanical experience required
- Ability to diagnose and repair collision-related mechanical damage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver's license
