Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business
- Manage bar inventory efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; process cash transactions accurately and handle cashing out at shift end
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to expand our drink menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving food items and supporting banquet or catering events
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service policies and promoting a safe environment
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Extensive cocktail making expertise with knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development
- Solid understanding of wine, spirits, craft beer, and beverage trends within the hospitality industry
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently
- Experience working in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions and inventory management
