Position Title: Women's Locker Room Attendant
Department: Golf Operations
Reports To: Locker Room Manager
Pay Range: $21-$25/ hourly
Terms: Seasonal, Full-Time, and Part-time (starting ASAP - October)
* Must have local housing within a reasonable distance to commute to Basalt. No housing provided.
We are seeking a reliable and friendly locker room attendant for our women's Locker Room. A Locker Room Attendant at Roaring Fork is integral in creating a hospitable and welcoming member & guest experience in the locker room. This is a customer service-oriented position that requires a welcoming, friendly and approachable personality along with the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily locker room needs.
- Prepare and serve, morning coffee service, afternoon Arnold Palmer service, lunch service, and beverages from the bar.
- Maintain general Locker Room appearance.
- Promote and practice name recognition by learning and retaining Members' names.
- Stock filling product/towels in bathrooms, Golf Pro-shop, and exercise facility.
- Wash/dry/fold towel laundry as needed.
- Clean, condition, and polish footwear as needed or requested.
- Provide whatever level of hospitality is needed to complete member requests.
- Ensure cleanliness, health and safety standards are consistently upheld.
Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:
- Knowledge of the golf sport industry, helpful but not necessary.
- Be capable of working with hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Willing and able to learn and retain members/guest names.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak and understand English helpful.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (morning, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous experience at a private club, resort or hospitality setting preferred.

- Follow set work schedules and specified job duties.

- Display and encourage teamwork in the department.
- Participate in daily Team Member Huddles and pre-shift meetings as requested by management and view the Human Resources communication boards for pertinent information.
Environmental Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to medium conditions. The work environment is mainly indoors and outdoors as needed and may contain hazardous chemicals for cleaning and laundry.
Physical Demands:
· Seeing – Must be able to see well enough to recognize members and others, including close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
· Hearing – Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with others in a noisy environment.
· Standing/Walking/Mobility- Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
· Climbing/Kneeling- Must be able to climb and kneel for short periods.
· Lifting – Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
