Job Summary:
The Special Education Attendant is a critical member of the educational support team at Roane County Schools. This role involves working closely with teachers to implement educational plans and provide physical, behavioral, and academic support to students with diverse needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implementing educational plans and providing individualized support to students.
- Reinforcing learning concepts and curriculum as assigned by the teacher.
- Supervising student behavior and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Assisting with student mobility needs and promoting independence.
- Helping students use communication devices to enhance their communication skills.
- Providing personal care, feeding, and toileting support to meet individual student needs.

Essential Qualifications:
