Job Description:
We have an opening for a full-time Office Manager with Labor Compliance Experience who enjoys providing excellent client service and wants to join a small team. You will perform a full range of advanced and complex administrative tasks. The primary responsibilities of the role include:
1) Processing Accounts Receivable & Payable
2) Human Resource Administration
3) Reviewing/securing contracts, insurance, and preliminary documents prior to project construction.
4) Manage payroll management lifecycle & administer certified payroll reports.
5) Implementing Labor Compliance Program in house and with the project’s Subcontractors.
6) Administrative support for ongoing construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:
Project Accounting: Manage all accounting for projects including AR/AP, vendor payments, journal entries (QuickBooks). Provide support on Subcontractor Billings and request conditional and unconditional releases.
Payroll: Prevailing Wage / Davis Bacon, LCP certified payroll processing (enter all employee data and changes into QuickBooks Payroll & DIR). Process all weekly checks for distribution.
Labor Compliance:Oversee, monitor, and enforce prevailing wage compliance on public works projects that includes certified payroll records, fringe benefit statements, employee training contributions, labor laws, DAS apprenticeship forms, DIR wage determinations, and payroll reporting on LCPTracker. Supervise all monthly fringe benefit contributions to appropriate company programs. Monitor and ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures.
Insurance: Process and request all preliminary forms and certificate of insurance.
Human Resource: Manage employee new hire paperwork, sensitive and confidential information, employment verification & certifications, and onboarding requirements. Handles fringe benefit programs and wage changes.
Qualifications:
· Prefer at least three years of construction office management, labor compliance and public works.
· Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, QuickBooks, and LCPTracker (compliance monitoring program). Ability to learn new software quickly.
· Secretarial and administrative experience with a high level of attention to detail.
· Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills to anticipate, identify and independently recommend appropriate actions and solutions to complex administrative problems.
· Must be naturally curious and action-oriented individual.
· Experience working effectively as a team member as well as independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
