- High level approach to operations management. Including understanding of key process indicators and how to effectively identify process breakdowns and communicate resolutions
- Practical experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
- Hands-on training with warehouse management systems
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and updating records in the warehouse management system.
- Receiving and Shipping: Help with receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting the quality of goods. Assist in preparing and packing orders for shipment.
- Process Design and Documentation: Work with transportation leadership to outline and design a process. Then document in a Standard Operating Procedure and implement with through various level of the operation.
- Quality Control: Assist in checking products for defects or discrepancies and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist in optimizing storage layouts for efficient operations.
- Data Entry: Update inventory records, order details, and shipment information in the system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse.
- 10-week paid internship working alongside various teams at Roadtex.!

- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Able to work in our Woodridge facility 5 days a week and travel to the Echo Chicago headquarters as needed
