Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash register operations effectively. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
• Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels at the register.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling financial transactions.
• Basic math skills, including retail math, to ensure accurate pricing and change calculations.
• Experience in selling products and conducting product demos is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Required:
