Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles of all types.
- Secure vehicles properly using cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with vehicle loading and unloading with adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct vehicle recovery towing for accidents or breakdowns, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely assistance.
- Position is 1099 and commission based.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and minimum age of 21.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
- Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally while maintaining positive customer interactions.
- Knowledge of flatbed towing equipment and vehicle recovery towing techniques is highly desirable. However, willing to train.
- Available Monday thru Thursday or Friday thru Monday (24 hour availability over four days).
