- Overseeing branch production, budgeting, and financial performance
- Managing shop activities, customer relations, and job site operations
- Coordinating with estimating teams on capacity planning and critical path issues
- Working with accounting teams on revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Essential Responsibilities:
- Crew amp; Equipment Management: Oversee crews and equipment in remote locations to meet customer expectations efficiently.
- Customer amp; Municipal Relations: Professionally interact with municipalities and customers, manage project notifications, secure permits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Problem-Solving amp; Decision-Making: Quickly assess challenges and exercise independent judgment to find effective solutions.
- Personnel amp; Scheduling: Develop employee schedules, manage labor needs, and ensure all project paperwork is completed on time.
- Project Planning amp; Execution: Plan and schedule projects to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Staffing amp; Performance Management: Assess employee capabilities, contribute to hiring and termination decisions, and ensure proper training and development.
- Safety amp; Compliance: Maintain oversight of all safety requirements, including DOT and industry compliance standards.
- 24/7 Availability: Be prepared for high-demand scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and emergency project needs.
- Procurement amp; Financial Reporting: Request necessary materials, manage billing, and maintain accurate revenue forecasts.
- Travel: Travel as needed for project oversight and branch operations.

- Strong financial literacy, including balance sheets and profit amp; loss statements.
Education amp; Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Minimum 10 years of experience in traffic control and safety, including direct crew work and formal industry training.
- Preferred: Minimum 10 years of supervisory or management experience.
