At Roads 2 Wellness Plus we are seeking a dedicated Life Coach Trainer to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need. As a Life Coach Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals to help them to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies to improve their overall well-being and success including career, relationships, health, and personal development.
Duties
- Provide individualized support and training to individuals in areas such as daily living skills, social skills, communication skills, providing coping skills for symptoms management, and behavioral management
- Address a variety of issues including mental health, emotional challenges, relationship problems, and life transitions.
- Educate clients about mental health, coping strategies, and self-care.
- Assist individuals with tasks related to personal care, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Implement strategies to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Provide immediate support during a crisis situation.
- Develop safety plans and connect clients with emergency resources if necessary.
- Create and maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the overall well-being of the individuals
- Complete notes and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience or background in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is beneficial.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide direct support and assistance to individuals in a home or community care setting
- Goal-setting and action-planning abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health science from an accredited institution and two years’ experience in the provision of MH services, or Associate’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and two years’ experience in the provision of mental health services
- Driver’s License, Vehicle: Valid driver’s license required No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
