Road Work Ahead is a family owned and operated traffic services company that has served Idaho for over 20 years. We are currently looking to hire motivated, hardworking, and career focused Traffic Control Flaggers for our Twin Falls location to service the Magic Valley and more.

Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: Varies week to week during winter season, but work is expected. Regular season 25-40 hours. Federal work and overtime opportunities during regular season.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly and be on your feet.
- Problem solving and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work long hours and varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Dependable transportation required.
- No experience necessary. Training and certification provided on site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain job sites and equipment.
- Be able to read and understand basic plans and instructions'.
- Communicate with your supervisors and coworkers to keep everyone safe.
- Control traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
- Provide outstanding service and protection to customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Work Zone Environment and Physical Demands:
During a typical day/night while performing your job duties, you can expect to be exposed to:
- Working in live traffic on the roadways.
- Moving equipment at a fast pace in order to get the work zone established in a timely manner.
- Outside weather conditions throughout the year, including extreme heat.
- Loud noises.
- Pedestrian traffic.
- Demanding customers, inspectors and others involved with the work zone.
- Constant physical activity; entering and exiting vehicles, climbing onto flatbeds, twisting and bending.
