Class C Box Truck Team Driver | $.80 CPM| Westmont, IL

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring experienced Class C Box Truck / Non-CDL Drivers for a dedicated long-distance driving opportunity based out of Westmont, Illinois.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to earn $0.80 per mile while operating a Class C or Non-CDL box truck.

CDL A and CDL B drivers are also welcome to apply. Some experienced CDL drivers choose this position because of the strong mileage pay without the additional requirements and responsibilities associated with operating a CDL vehicle.

Drivers will operate between designated terminals and customer locations, with routes such as:

Bensenville, IL → Fort Worth, TX → Bensenville, IL

Drivers should be comfortable with long-distance routes and extended periods on the road.

Pay & Compensation
$0.80 Per Mile

Drivers are paid based on truck mileage.

For example, assuming approximately 950 miles each way:

Bensenville, IL → Fort Worth, TX

950 miles × $0.80 = $760

Fort Worth, TX → Bensenville, IL

950 miles × $0.80 = $760

Total Trip Mileage: 1,900 miles

Total Truck Pay: $1,520

Two-Driver Example

When two drivers are assigned to the same truck and route, the truck mileage pay is divided equally:

Driver 1: $760
Driver 2: $760
Total paid to both drivers: $1,520
Waiting Time Pay

Waiting time is paid separately at:

$30 per hour after the first hour

Waiting time applies at each pickup or delivery location.

An example route is:

Bensenville, Illinois → Fort Worth, Texas → Bensenville, Illinois

The example represents approximately:

950 miles from Illinois to Texas
950 miles from Texas back to Illinois
1,900 total truck miles

At $0.80 CPM, the truck generates approximately $1,520 in mileage pay for the round trip.

Qualifications

Driver Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience driving like vehicles
2 years of driving experience required for new ventures
Maintain the appropriate license/class for the vehicle being operated
Current MVR required, no more than 30 days old
Minimum age: 23 years old
Maximum age may vary by carrier, generally 65–70, with medical documentation as applicable
Must meet applicable carrier underwriting requirements
Must meet all applicable safety and driving-history requirements
Driving Record Requirements
Minor Violations

No more than 3 minor violations within the previous 3 years, including accidents.

No more than 1 accident within the previous 3 years.

Examples of minor violations include:

Speeding
Improper or excessive lane changes
Following too closely
Accidents
Running a red light or stop sign
Failure to yield
Suspension related to child support payments
Suspension related to a medical card lapse
Major Violations

No major violations within the previous 5 years.

Major violations include:

Speeding 20 MPH or more above the posted speed limit
Reckless or careless driving
Passing a stopped school bus
Texting or talking on a mobile device without a hands-free device while driving
Hit and run
Drag racing
Driving under the influence (DUI/DWI)
Criminal conviction involving a motor vehicle, including assault or homicide
Driving with a suspended license, other than suspensions related to child support or a medical card lapse
Additional Safety Requirements

Excessive Out-of-Service Vehicle Citations may be referred for additional underwriting review.

Final driver qualification and approval are subject to applicable carrier requirements and underwriting review.
