Job Title: Behavioral Health Tech
Supervisor: Lead Tech/Housing Manager
Job Requirements
- Monitoring clients and recording your observations.
- Reporting back on each client's progress and concerns.
- Excellent listening skills, and a strong understanding of substance abuse
- Ensuring clients have a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain a sensitive and respectful attitude when working with our clients
- Diffusing situations in which clients wish to harm themselves or others.
- Providing emotional support to clients.
- Alerting medical professionals or supervisors to intervene in emergencies.
- Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks.
- Maintaining strict client confidentiality.
- Transporting clients to and from appointments.
- Assist with collecting and observing UAs.
- Help out with facilitating groups as needed (uncommon)
- Performing assorted light office work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- 1-2 years experience in substance abuse treatment
- High School degree, further education preferred
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
