The IT Support Specialist supports day-to-day IT operations and account management across all our company locations. This role is primarily onsite at the Charles City VA location, with regular support provided to the Fredericksburg VA location. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an IT environment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple technology-related accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide help desk support for both Charles City VA and Fredericksburg VA locationsPerform workstation diagnostics and basic troubleshooting (hardware, software, connectivity)Support and maintain basic network infrastructureManage wireless accounts across RTPManage and track various smaller IT-related accounts across RTPAssist with user setup, access, and general technical supportCoordinate with vendors and service providers as neededTravel between company locations as requiredMaintain documentation and inventory of IT assetsRequired QualificationsPrevious experience working in an IT environmentWorking knowledge of basic network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless access points)Experience with workstation setup, diagnostics, and troubleshootingStrong organizational and account management skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsReliable transportation for local travel between sitesPreferred QualificationsPrior help desk or technical support experienceFamiliarity with wireless account managementExperience supporting multiple office locationsBasic understanding of IT asset tracking and documentation
