Road Safety Services is looking for an IT Automation Engineer to join our team! This individual will be responsible for ERP systems management, analysis, troubleshooting, and assisting in the development of solutions that support overall business strategies. The role involves documenting system workflows, configuring and evaluating test system modifications, and supporting system development, implementation, and integration with other systems. This position may require up to 20% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
- Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications.
- Develop actionable work items to support system stability and test changes to ensure they meet end-user needs.
- Document processes in detail for repeatable testing, training, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage finance and operational systems, including security best practices, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain automated system test cases/use cases
- Identify process improvements and standardization opportunities.
- Manage automation and integration between multiple systems.
- Develop reporting and interactive dashboards.
- Lead the implementation and management of automating onboarding and offboarding processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Automate various repeatable requests, ensuring streamlined and consistent service delivery.
- Generate reports to provide actionable insights and track automation performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant computer science field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in ERP software management and configuration.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 or related tools.
- Strong data analysis and business report query development skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
