Ro-Check Electric Inc., a growing electrical contractor proudly serving Cuyahoga County’s west and south suburbs, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical solutions that meet all safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute projects
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local building codes
- Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of residential electrical experience
- Experience in residential electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in homes
- Prior work on construction sites involving blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and high voltage applications
- Familiarity with NEC regulations, and schematic diagrams
- Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and efficiency in dynamic environments
- Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters for precise diagnostics
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience enhances versatility in completing comprehensive residential projects
