Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality and consistency
- Support cooking activities by following safety standards and proper techniques to deliver delicious dishes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Help with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Support banquet and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service operations
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to keep the dining area organized and ready for guests
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Kitchen experience involving food preparation, cooking, or food handling is preferred
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices is essential
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles enhances your ability to excel in this role
