Responsibilities:
- Safely transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and federal HazMat regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Follow proper loading, unloading, and securement procedures for hazardous cargo
- Maintain accurate shipping documents, manifests, and HazMat placarding requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel during deliveries
- Respond appropriately to spills, incidents, or emergencies in accordance with safety protocols
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic and transportation laws
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement required
- Must pass TSA HazMat background check and meet all federal eligibility requirements
- Previous experience driving and transporting hazardous materials preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HazMat handling procedures
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety
- Excellent time management and communication skills
