What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at RND Contractors Inc?
~~Maintenance Mechanic
Summary
Will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on construction & manufacturing equipment (forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts) as well as support the manufacturing facility.
Must have a minimum of 10 yrs. Experience! You must have your own tools!
Only mechanics with experience in repairing the above mentioned equipment will be considered!
Essential Skills
1. Maintain a CLEAN, ORGANIZED and SAFE work environment.
2. Must have sufficient knowledge and all the tools necessary to perform repairs.
3. Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
4. Ability to support operational activities with corrective actions associated with mechanical/electrical equipment.
5. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. This includes both AC and DC systems, including single and three phase.
6. Possess the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems and perform routine PM’s on all equipment.
7. Have the ability to install, repair and replace faulty equipment. (pumps, gearboxes, motor, etc.).
8. Repair various types of equipment (forklift, boom lift, scissor lift)
9. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
10. Must comply with all company safety procedures.
Salary : $25 - $35
