RNA Corporation (www.rnacorporation.com) is a leading manufacturer of personal & Cosmetic products. We have been in business for over 30 years, we handle R&D, formulation, batch creation, and product filling.
We are looking or an experienced Chemical Compounder/Operator Technician with at least 5 years experience. The Compounding technician responsibilities include all the stages of producing a batch of product from chemical receiving, chemical processing, weighing, mixing and blending, and usage of all equipment related to the processing of chemicals such as kettles, pumps, mixing paddles.
The main equipment we have on site are filling machines for liquid products, pumps such as diaphragm, vacuum, and others, conveyor systems for transporting products and packaging, and many other machines. Anyone applying for this role should be familiar with maintaining and usage of these equipment.
In addition, compounding technician will work with administration to calculate batch yields, decide on batch schedule, and updating and revising any changes to the formulation of various products, when needed.
The compounding technician should be familiar with best practices for plant safety and equipment, in terms of both training and materials and should have some experience setting up a training program so all workers are cross trained in equipment usage, and preventative maintenance.
Lastly, the compounding technician should be forklift certified.
