We're searching for a 3PL Operations Office Manager to oversee our Auburn, Maine operation team!
RMX is an experienced, Top 3PL provider and we want the best and brightest to join us and direct a team of employees in the transportation brokerage arena. Since our inception in 1983, we've grown to several offices nationwide with plans to expand to new regions in the United States. About the Position:
- Ambition to grow our office as part of our established organization
- Manage the daily TMS processes of receiving, processing orders
- Customer communication & problem solving to include onboarding new customers & projects
- Build a solid process plan for ongoing new business
- Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Organizing team roles and evaluating employee performance
- Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
- Implementing business strategies
- Performing employee reviews and assessments
- Assist with new employee onboarding and training program
What We're Looking For:
- Book of business is preferred but not required
- Previous team leadership role as a manager for a minimum of 4-6 team members for at least 3 years
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation/logistics/3PL
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Proficient Microsoft office and computer skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company policies, procedures, and agreements
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Strong conflict management skills, including those involving sensitive and complex matters
