Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of ABA therapy programs for children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Oversee clinical operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral health, special education, and medical documentation standards.
- Supervise and mentor BCBA staff, providing guidance on behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and patient assessments.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical records, documentation, and confidentiality protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, educators, and families—to optimize patient care and progress tracking.
- Manage program growth initiatives by establishing new services, training staff on applied behavior analysis principles, and fostering a positive team environment focused on patient care excellence.
Requirements
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with current certification status.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, data collection procedures, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- Demonstrated ability to lead clinical teams effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Experience in special education settings or behavioral health environments is highly desirable.
