Chemistry Lab Technician

The Chemistry Lab Technician will assist in routine lab analyses, sample preparation, data collection, and quality control to ensure accurate and efficient testing processes. You’ll work closely with our lead chemists and production staff to maintain lab standards and ensure compliance with safety and documentation protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze chemical samples following established procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, balances, etc.)
• Document results accurately and maintain detailed lab records
• Assist in method development, validation, and calibration of instruments
• Manage lab supplies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance guidelines

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience preferred (academic or professional)
• Familiarity with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, or UV-Vis) a plus
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
