Role Summary:
The Regional Director of Sales at RMS Companies in our Hosiptality divison leads revenue growth across a portfolio of hotels by executing strategic sales initiatives across corporate, group, and event segments. This role focuses on expanding market share, building high-value client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Overseeing the full sales lifecycle, the Director drives consistent processes, strong pipeline performance, and a best-in-class client experience. The role also leverages CRM data and market insights to optimize results, strengthen account retention, and align sales strategies with RMS Companies’ overall business objectives. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and Sales.
Job Description:
Revenue Strategy & Business Growth
- Own and execute the regional sales strategy for group, corporate negotiated, and event-driven business segments.
- Drive measurable revenue growth by expanding market share, increasing account production, and identifying new demand channels.
- Continuously evaluate sales performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics to refine strategy and improve outcomes.
Client Development & Market Expansion
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for key corporate, group, and event clients, ensuring a high-touch, experience-driven approach.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through targeted outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong network across corporate clients, event planners, industry organizations, and local venues.
- Position RMS hotels as preferred partners through strategic visibility at trade shows, events, and industry engagements.
Sales Leadership & Process Ownership
- Lead and standardize the end-to-end sales process, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a high level of client engagement.
- Oversee negotiation strategy, contract structure, and deal execution to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Establish and enforce touring and experience standards that reflect the brand.
- Provide direction and oversight to on-site teams to ensure seamless execution from lead through turnover.
Customer Experience
- Champion a best-in-class client experience, ensuring responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism at all stages of engagement.
- Elevate the quality of sales interactions and follow-up to strengthen conversion and client retention.
Systems & Data Optimization
- Own CRM strategy, data integrity, and utilization as the central platform for pipeline management and performance tracking.
- Leverage data and reporting to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Account Management & Retention
- Oversee renewal strategies for corporate negotiated accounts and consortia partnerships, ensuring strong retention and rate optimization.
- Monitor account performance against production goals and proactively adjust strategies to maximize output.
- Maintain ongoing communication with key clients to reinforce relationships and identify incremental opportunities.
Market Intelligence
- Act as the regional market expert, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive dynamics, demand drivers, and emerging opportunities.
- Translate market insights into actionable sales strategies and targeted business development efforts.
- Align closely with marketing to ensure messaging, positioning, and collateral support revenue objectives.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in senior hotel sales position preferred
- Proven track record of driving top‑line revenue across multiple hotels and market segments
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of successful sales associates
- Strong background in corporate negotiated, group, SMERF, and transient sales
- Experience using Salesforce a plus

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
