RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a SOF Analyst at JEB Little Creek/Ft. Story, Va with JCIDS/SOFCIDS/DAS subject matter expertise for technical analysis and writing support.

This support will consist of analysis, research, and the production of documents, accompanying executive briefing material, and/or budgetary support spreadsheets. Each product will have sufficient definition, depth, rigor, and clarity to serve as the draft submission for transitioning to the next step or phase of the respective requirements generation or budgetary process. Additionally, this support will frequently be called upon to brief, advise, interface with, and organize events at the Flag and General Officer staff level, the Department Level, and the Service Staff level. SMEs shall be prepared to be frequently called upon to directly assist in these efforts, or to directly represent at these events.
- A JCIDS/SOFCIDS/DAS SME with professional technical, analytical, and writing skills to support NSWG-4 (N8), in accordance with the personnel and security requirements.
- Consult NSWG-4 users to ensure documents accurately communicate and address current practices, issues, and challenges experienced by the end user of the capability that is the subject of any given assignment.
- Research subject matter as required to support document development. Research contacts may include industry, academia, and other commands, as necessary and appropriate.
- Identify and record referenced final reports, or other resulting products, of studies or analyses.
- Maintain the ability to work in a classified environment and adhere to the proper protocols and requirements for processing, handling, and storing classified materials.
- Works independently under general guidelines or objectives.
- Possesses advanced technical and managerial skills; fully knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of a program or functional area.
- Applicable functional areas include systems engineering, network engineering, acquisition management, business process reengineering, specialty engineering (e.g., communications, systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, human factors, reliability and maintainability, systems security etc.), organizational planning, financial management, acquisition logistics, configuration and data information systems, and support or program management.
- Manages a single program/project or major functional area.
- Fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the program or programs under his/her purview.
- Assist with establishing objectives and requirements.
- Assist with budgets.
- Assist with developing program/project standards and schedules.
- Assist with reviewing documentation.
- Assist with program reviews, meetings, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited U.S. College in engineering or another technical field.
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certificates in CLR 101, RQM 110, CLR 151, CLR 250, and CLR 252, (and RQM 310, preferred, not required).
- At least 3 years’ experience performing Program/Project Management functions.
- At least 5 years’ experience developing capability requirements generation and documentation.
- At least 3 years’ experience performing analytical and technical writing for Special Operations Forces (SOF) or any of its components, including developing, researching, compiling, organizing, and documenting Special Operations Forces Capabilities Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS) capability gaps and requirements.
