Production Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Assistant to support our maple syrup production process. This role involves assisting with the grading and bottling of maple syrup, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and eager to learn about the craft of maple syrup production.

Duties

• Assist with the grading of maple syrup to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Support the bottling process, including preparing bottles, filling, and sealing containers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Help with inventory management of supplies and packaging materials.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures during all stages of production.
• Support team members in daily tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
• Participate in quality control checks throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn about maple syrup grading and bottling processes.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as needed.
• Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Must adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
