Description
The Baltimore office of RMF Engineering, Inc. (RMF) is seeking a mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering student for an hourly paid, full-time summer internship in our Baltimore, Maryland office. Unpaid time off is granted as needed. Our normal working hours are flexible with core business hours from 9 am to 3 pm.
(Hourly rate: $23.00)
Duties:
- Assist in calculations associated with studies and designs under the direction and guidance of a mentor.
- Assist in the production of plan, diagram, and detail drawings using AutoCAD or Revit software.
- Assist in field investigations.
- Attend consultant meetings to observe the coordination and collaboration process.
- Mech: Completion of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, HVAC Design courses preferred.
- Elec: Completion of Circuits, Power Systems Analysis, Renewable Energy courses preferred.
- Engineering/Construction work-related skill, knowledge, and experience preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other BIM/Revit software is a plus.
