What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Specialist position at RMF Companies?
With 80 years of industry expertise, RMF Companies stands as a reputable Custom Food Processing Equipment manufacturer, serving both the custom job shop market and larger industrial clients. We are looking for a candidate who specifically has experience setting up CNC Mill jobs without fixtures. We mostly do small batch runs and do not use many fixtures.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Independently read and interpret engineering prints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production standards.
- Ability to manage and operate multiple machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Mill Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of G-Codes
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Experience completing setups without fixtures
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Additional experience with CNC lathe and conventional machining is a definite advantage.
- Experience with a Fadal Mill is a plus
