Role Description The Property Accountant is a full-time, on-site position based in Tampa, FL. This role is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties, including preparing monthly financial statements, posting journal entries, and maintaining general ledger accuracy. The Property Accountant will review and reconcile accounts, monitor cash activity, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist with variance analysis. The role includes collaborating with property management and leasing teams to ensure timely billing, collections, and expense coding, as well as supporting year-end audit and tax preparation. The Property Accountant is expected to maintain organized records, adhere to internal controls, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
