REPORTS TO: Director of Laboratory

RESPONSIBILITIES: Completion of routine workload in the specimen collection and processing area according to established policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Medical Lab Technician certification (associates degree) or Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology and state licensure. ASCP certification is preferred. Minimum of 2 years hospital experience or medically related environment with 1 year of microbiology experience preferred. Excellent customer relations skills. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
