Key Responsibilities
- Development and Implementation of Quality Systems: Maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with TNI accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Record Management: Oversee the creation, review, and management of all laboratory documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and records, ensuring compliance with TNI guidelines.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all laboratory personnel are adequately trained in quality assurance procedures, methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Internal Audits and Assessments: Plan and conduct regular internal audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as necessary.
- External Audits and Accreditation: Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, inspections, and accreditation assessments conducted by regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory processes, systems, and performance metrics to drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with laboratory operations, ensuring that potential quality issues are proactively addressed and managed.
- Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with laboratory management and staff to address customer inquiries, concerns, and non-conformances related to quality assurance matters, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in regulations, standards, and best practices related to environmental testing and quality assurance, and ensure that laboratory operations remain in compliance at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental science) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management within an environmental laboratory setting, with a thorough understanding of TNI accreditation requirements.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience in leading internal and external audits, inspections, and accreditation assessments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification preferred but not required.
