Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records. Daily tasks include handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing payroll, and assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting. The role requires close collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure effective financial management. Applicant should have be able to speak Hindi or Gujarati.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar
- Experience with tax regulations, budget preparation, and fiscal year-end closings
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
- Experience in the manufacturing or metals industry is advantageous but not required
