Snow Removal- Experienced HEO Loader Operator (Rochester, NY)
R.M. Landscape is a growing company with a large portfolio of commercial properties in which we provide superior snow and ice management services throughout Western NY. Currently we are looking for an Experienced Large Loader and/or Mini Loader Operator for our Snow Removal season. We are looking for operators that are reliable, motivated, and efficient. The operator will be responsible for utilizing snow management techniques to keep sites clear of snow and reduce hazardous conditions. The ideal candidate must love working outdoors in all types of cold weather as this is a challenging position. We value reliability and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct-to-Site report with Large/Mini Loader and Skid Steer for Snow Removal, Salting, and/or Shoveling duties
- Work with Site/Route Managers to clear snow and manage ice per company standards
- Maintain a safe job site, ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged from removal efforts
- Maintain and care for heavy equipment, tools, and vehicles
- Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt
- Operate, prepare, and inspect various machinery ensuring equipment is in top condition and appropriate for site
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age (required)
- Experience: 5 years’ experience in large and mini loader, and/or skid steer operating using various size push loader (required)
- Ability to learn and be trained (required)
- Follow all safety guidelines and use safety equipment (required)

- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to site (required)
- Valid NYS Driver License (required)
- Hours Vary (Open availability preferred)
- On-call/Weather Dependent work
- Physical work (strength and endurance to lift and shovel snow), work outdoors (in cold weather conditions), maneuver a shovel effectively, and walk long distances (on wet, ice, and/or snow) in various weather conditions (required)
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. safely and with assistance (required)
