What You’ll Do
- Our Engineering internship offers hands-on learning experience in product design, testing, quality, and manufacturing.
- As an intern, you’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer and the Engineering & Quality team, assisting with various projects such as warranty/root cause analysis, process control analytics and implementation, new product testing, and more.
- You’ll also gain experience in hydrostatic burst testing, grain analysis, and other product evaluation methods. Present project reports to senior leadership, helping to develop critical communication skills and abilities.
- This internship provides valuable, real-world skills and a deeper understanding of the engineering processes behind critical electrical systems.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Rising Junior or Senior
- The ability to demonstrate relevant skills and experience required for the role
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (excel, word, Power Point, Outlook and Teams)
- The internship will run for approximately 12 weeks beginning in late May through August
- Temporary Part/Full Time, targeting 40 hours per week
- Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business
- This is a paid internship
This position is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and involves working in a manufacturing environment/general exposure to a manufacturing environment. The environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, or other factors. Employees are required to abide by PPE guidelines when onsite.
- Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role
- This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
- Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- May involve moving or lifting items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting
