Job Summary
Install fire sprinkler systems in new residential construction projects, ensuring proper assembly and compliance with all codes and standards. Communicate with the Superintendent to provide updates, report any challenges, and address field installation concerns. Follow safety protocols and project guidelines to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion. This job is available for candidates in the Fresno, Visalia, Madera and surrounding areas.
Essential Duties
- Gather materials needed for sprinkler system instillation
- Conduct daily jobsite review
- Install fire sprinkler systems including riser
- Provide as-built redlines of changes, return instillation plans to superintendent
- Maintain truck and tools in good and safe working conditions
Qualifications
- Proficient in high quality fire sprinkler instillation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Related Experience
- At least 1 year as an installer or in a similar position such as plumbing (required)
Safety/Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Position required continuous walking, lifting, squatting, and climbing on ladders
- Must be able to work in varying outdoor temperatures
- Ability to travel, walk, and work on varying terrains such as dirt, gravel, etc.
Education
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
Reports to: Residential Superintendent
Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Classification: Non-exempt, Full time, In Person
Supervisory: This position does not have direct reporting employees
