the entire organization.

Youll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around

the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. Youll also

contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can

continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

**In this position**

• Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers
  
  

exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics,

and vehicle delivery

• Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to
  
  

drive resolution of open issues.

• Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
• Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for
  
  

emergency supplier situations

• Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1)
• Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at
  
  

identified supplier sites

• Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced
  
  

Quality Planning Process (APQP)

• Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future
  
  

sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality

• Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers
  
  

exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics,

and vehicle delivery

• Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency
  
  

supplier situations

Skills Required

• Quality Management, Problem Solving, APQP, PPAP processes
• Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short
  
  

notice

• Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and/or
  
  

capacity issues on-site with suppliers

Experience Required

5 years experience in one or more but not limited to the following

manufacturing process: Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding,

Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly

Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC.

Experience Preferred

Manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations experience

Education Required

Bachelors degree or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude

Education Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
