manufacturing process: Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding,
Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly
Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC.
Experience Preferred
Manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations experience
Education Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
Education Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Engineering

- Position Description: Quality Reliability Engineer (STA Launch
- \*STA Launch Engineer**\* The Supply Chain team adds critical value to
Youll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around
the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. Youll also
contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can
continually produce the vehicles our customers want.
**In this position**
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers
and vehicle delivery
- Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to
- Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
- Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for
- Lead adherence to Ford standards (i.e.Q1)
- Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at
- Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced
- Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future
- Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers
and vehicle delivery
- Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency
Skills Required
- Quality Management, Problem Solving, APQP, PPAP processes
- Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short
- Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and/or
