RLD Sustain Construction Company is a vertically integrated builder. We will operate with W-2 employees only, strict forty-hour maximums per employee, three shifts per day, six days per week, and no subcontracted core trades. We will execute against Board-approved master schedules and critical-path milestones.
Role Summary
We will appoint a Division President to lead Residential New Construction, delivering high-end residential projects from permitting through commissioning and handover to operations. The Division President will report to the President & CEO and will be accountable for schedule, safety, quality, budget discipline, and talent development across multiple concurrent sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead division execution against Board-approved schedules with portfolio/PMO governance and critical-path recovery.
- Enforce our W-2 labor doctrine, strict forty-hour caps, three-shift operations, and no-subcontractor policy for core trades.
- Oversee permitting and authority interfaces, inspections, and code compliance through certificate of occupancy and commissioning.
- Direct vertical construction, rooftop solar integration, geothermal placement, energy-storage integration, and turnover packages.
- Manage cost control, procurement, materials logistics, document control, and audit-grade quality records.
- Coordinate building-line handoffs with the Site Infrastructure Division using readiness/acceptance certificates.
- Recruit, develop, and retain superintendents, project managers, and discipline managers; uphold safety leadership and training.
- Provide visible, on-site leadership across active builds and supplier/authority meetings as schedules require.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site residential construction programs with premium finishes and strict quality standards.
- Hands-on command of schedule control, safety leadership, commissioning/turnover, and PMO field reporting.
- Proven ability to scale W-2 field operations across multiple trades with a three-shift, six-day operating model.
Core Qualifications
- Mastery of project/portfolio management, budget and cost controls, contract and risk management, and change management.
- Authority, lender, insurer, and utility coordination experience; strong stakeholder and neighborhood/HOA engagement skills.
- Track record of building high-performing field teams and maintaining low rework and punch-list rates.
Technical Background (Preferred)
- Construction management or engineering degree; professional credential preferred.
- Experience integrating renewable-energy and storage systems into residential buildings.
- Familiarity with commissioning standards, readiness/acceptance certification, and enterprise document control.
Compensation Policy (Cash-Only)
Consistent with corporate policy, RLD Sustain does not issue equity or equity-like instruments. Compensation is cash-based.
Base Salary: Starting at $875,000.00
Annual Cash Bonus: Generous performance-based cash bonuses tied to residential project closings (details shared after NDA during the initial Zoom interview).

Work Arrangement
Division leadership role based in Crete, Illinois, with travel to active project locations and key partners as required by Board-approved schedules.
