The Structured Cabling Technician supports the installation and maintenance of low-voltage infrastructure for in-building wireless systems. This role involves installing, terminating, and testing copper, fiber, and coaxial cabling, as well as assisting with Distributed Antenna System (DAS) equipment and hardware. The ideal candidate has experience in structured cabling, DAS, or low-voltage systems and is able to work independently or as part of a crew across commercial, industrial, and public safety projects throughout Southern California.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test copper, fiber, and coaxial cabling for DAS systems
- Assist with the installation of DAS equipment, antennas, splitters, couplers, and related hardware
- Perform cable pulls, routing, labeling, and dressing to industry standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, RF system drawings, and construction documents
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and certification of DAS and cabling infrastructure
- Support engineering teams with integration and commissioning of DAS systems
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, NEC, and industry standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA)
- Travel to various job sites across Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Diego)
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of coaxial, copper (Cat5e/6/6a), and fiber optic cabling
- Familiarity with DAS components and system layouts
- Ability to operate testing equipment (signal analyzers, OTDRs, cable testers)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for RF and connectivity issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and in varied environments
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in structured cabling, DAS, or low-voltage systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- OSHA 10/30, iBwave, CommScope, Corning, or BICSI certifications a plus
