What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roustabout / Painter position at RKT Operating?
We have opportunities for highly motivated, dependable individuals to join our growing team of skilled blasters, painters, and roustabout hands. This position will be responsible for using sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants before applying coatings for pipeline and other coating projects in accordance with customer specifications and manufacturer recommendations. This position will assemble, maintain, repair, and clean the painting equipment used on projects as well as assisting in loading, unloading, and storage of equipment and supplies as well as other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years prior experience in sandblasting, painting, and roustabout work. Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and be able to work in all environmental conditions while following all company and customer safety policies. Must be able to travel and work weekends and overtime as needed. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
