Position Summary
Assist the shipping and receiving supervisor, on one or more projects, with the day-to-day administrative operations of a department.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform administrative support duties and process documentations as required.
- Set-up and maintain all project filing systems, including archiving project records.
- Generate and distribute available Logs and Reports.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers, external and internal.
- Maintain payroll for Shipping, Receiving.
- Submit orders and track inventory/ consumables.
- Provide assistance with scheduling shipments and incoming orders.
- Other duties as assigned
- Receives direct supervision.
- Performs technical responsibilities.
- Work is generally structured or recurring.
- Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
- Relevant past experience is not necessarily required.
- 3 Years of experience in Forklift and Material Handling ideally in heavy steel required.
- Experience with All Terrain extended boom and forklift required, including Telehandler.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Receives direct supervision.
- Performs administrative or technical responsibilities.
- Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
- Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.
- Work is generally structured or recurring.
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Intimidate computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Entry-level, non-exempt positions.
