Responsibilities
- Greet service customers promptly and courteously in a professional manner.
- Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify and verify customer service needs accurately.
- Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product features and service requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates for service costs and completion times, obtaining proper authorization from customers.
- Monitor service progress and communicate any changes regarding costs, estimated time of delivery, or additional recommended services to customers.
- Administer warranty repairs for new and used vehicles following manufacturer guidelines.
- Confirm service appointments by telephone prior to customer arrival and conduct post-repair follow-up calls.
- Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure all services and repairs were completed correctly and explain results to the customer.
- Comply with state and federal laws related to automobile repair and consumer protection.
- Uphold the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
Work Hours
This is a full-time, in-person position. Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience as a service advisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the state of employment.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a positive, high-energy attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.
