What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Sales Associate position at RK Roofing & Construction Inc.?
Join our commercial sales team! We are a 25-year-old roofing business based in the San Francisco East Bay looking for someone who wants to earn big. This is primarily a commission-based position, with a small base salary. We are looking to add your motivation and expertise to our dedicated team to expand our commercial client base for re-roofing, repairs, and maintenance contracts. Basic training in roofing is offered, but roofing experience is preferred. Sales closing acumen is required.
Position Goals:
- Grow number of commercial roofing clients and volume of annual work
- Expand volume of annual maintenance contracts
- Assist in development of marketing materials to communicate the breadth of materials and services offered
- Service your new leads and active clients with integrity, honesty and quality work
Anticipated Tasks:
- Outreach to leads provided by management to secure roof inspection appointments and meetings with asset decision-makers
- Generate your own leads for new commercial new clients
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients
- Track and update all data in RK Roofing’s CRM program
- Review, track and prioritize opportunities generated by your efforts
- Perform property and owner research to facilitate outreach efforts
- Coordinate with RK Roofing Customer Service, Estimating & Marketing departments to procure necessary data needed to sell RK Roofing services
- Close sales contracts!
- Close maintenance contracts!
- Professionally service clients from start to finish
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience in sales, asset management, roofing or other relevant industries
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Familiarity with typical CRM platforms and general digital tools (email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office). We will train you on our roofing-specific CRM.
- Ability to work independently while keeping the team informed
- Professional, courteous, and solution-oriented attitude
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Compensation based on experience and client closing success. Base salary plus commission.
