Position And Responsibilities Overview
RK Mission Critical is seeking a results-driven Inventory Sales Specialist to
lead the strategic sale of excess electrical components and miscellaneous
steel inventory. This role is ideal for a dynamic, analytical sales
professional with experience selling older or surplus inventory on a global
scale.
The successful candidate must be adept at understanding market demand,
negotiating with buyers, and structuring deals that align with our financial
objectives. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing
and maintaining a data-driven sales strategy, tracking pricing trends, and
ensuring alignment with internal pricing thresholds. The ideal candidate is a
self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working
independently while aligning with our company's core values.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute a structured sales strategy to reduce excess inventory
efficiently and profitably.
Identify and engage global buyers with an interest in surplus or discontinued
inventory, leveraging existing networks and developing new sales channels.
Analyze market pricing trends to ensure competitive pricing while mitigating
financial risks.
Build and maintain a comprehensive sales database, tracking buyer
interactions, pricing negotiations, and sales outcomes relative to
approved sale price thresholds.
Negotiate deals strategically, ensuring maximum revenue retention while
expediting inventory reduction.
Collaborate with internal finance and leadership teams to provide transparency
into sales progress and market conditions.
Ensure alignment with parent company core values: Safety, Mentorship,

Potential to transition into core product sales or other business roles after

Minimum Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required
to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a
computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
requirements due to computer work.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
5 years of sales experience in industrial components, electrical
equipment, or surplus inventory.
Experience working in a financially disciplined or private equity-backed
organization.
Background in supply chain management, secondary markets, or liquidation
sales is a plus.
Familiarity with modular electrical products, data centers, or industrial
construction equipment is beneficial.
Proven experience selling surplus, aged, or excess inventory, preferably
in electrical components or industrial materials.
Strong global sales network with experience navigating international markets.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a strategic approach to balancing price
optimization and sales velocity.
Highly analytical mindset, comfortable working with financial metrics and
pricing models.
Proficient in CRM tools and sales databases to document interactions and
manage pricing intelligence.
Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented
mindset.
