Position Summary

The VAS Clerk plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Value-Added Services department. This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor and Team Lead with a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the efficient processing of finished goods and customer-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.

This role consists of approximately 40% desk-based tasks and 60% floor-based activities, requiring strong multitasking skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage receiver entries for inbound product
• Receive and verify finished goods against documentation
• Conduct pick checks to ensure order accuracy and compliance
• Facilitate customer approval processes and maintain related records
• Support quality assurance (QA) procedures and escalate discrepancies
• Prepare and send Return to Sender (RTS) forms as needed
• Collaborate with VAS Supervisor/Lead to execute daily priorities
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely data entry
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Uphold safety and operational standards while working on the floor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations or clerical support
• Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, walking, and standing
• Excellent communication and time management abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent movement between office and warehouse areas
• Standing and walking for extended periods during floor operations
