Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and a drive for professional growth. The ideal candidate will specialize in steering, suspension, and alignments while possessing the versatility to handle intermediate engine diagnostics and HVAC service.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Alignments: Execute vehicle alignments using advanced computer-based equipment to optimize handling and minimize tire wear.
- Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot complex suspension and steering issues; perform light engine repairs and intermediate diagnostics utilizing modern scan tools.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough test drives to verify repair integrity and ensure vehicle safety.
- Documentation: Clearly communicate technical findings and document all services performed for client records.
- Specialized Service: Perform HVAC diagnostics and repairs (strongly preferred).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certifications: Valid State Certification in Steering, Suspension, and Brakes.
- Experience: Proven track record in automotive steering/suspension diagnosis and repair.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and a willingness to expand expertise into evolving automotive systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Tools & Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a personal inventory of professional-grade tools.
