Manufacturing Team Lead (Machine Shop, Saw & Weld Operations)
Location: Akron, OH
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Fridays and overtime as needed)

RJS Corporation, a respected manufacturer with over 75 years of success, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our Machine Shop, Saw, and Weld areas.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a manufacturing professional who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and driving production results while working alongside employees on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities across Machine Shop, Saw, and Weld departments
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure production goals are met
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Review blueprints, work orders, and production requirements
- Ensure quality, safety, and operational standards are maintained
- Support troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate labor reporting and ERP/MRP transactions
Qualifications
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in machining, fabrication, or welding
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, measuring tools, and quality standards
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Experience
- Mill and lathe experience
- Welding or fabrication knowledge
- Mastercam or other CAM software experience
- G-Code and M-Code programming knowledge
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
